FieldRoutes fits pest and lawn companies that want one platform for sales, billing, routing and customer communication, and are comfortable with a demo-led, quote-based purchase. It doesn’t publish prices or offer a free trial.
Crewtide fits teams that want to test weekly route planning themselves first: published prices per technician, a 14-day free trial with no card, and route optimization on every plan, while keeping their current system for billing.

Pricing compared
FieldRoutes lists two plans, Growth and Corporate, each with “Request Pricing”. Its pricing page says “the monthly subscription is based on the number of active customers.” That’s a different model from Crewtide, which charges per technician on a route that month.
| Pricing | FieldRoutes | Crewtide Core |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Not published | $49 per technician a month billed annually, $59 month to month |
| Based on | Active customers | Technicians on a route that month |
| Free trial | No | 14 days, no card |
| Route optimization | Listed on both plans | Every plan |
A customer-count price can suit companies with dense residential routes. Per-technician pricing suits commercial routes where each technician serves fewer, longer visits.
Where FieldRoutes is stronger
- Built for pest and lawn. Sales, contracts, payments, service records and customer communication for those trades in one platform.
- Skills-aware routing. FieldRoutes says it organizes routes “based on skillset”, for example qualified technicians for termite inspections.
- Missed work gets reassigned. A Job Pool “promptly reassigns tasks”.
- Customer messaging. Automated text, email and voice reminders today.
Where Crewtide fits better
- Try it before a sales call. Published prices and a free trial, so you can build a real week with your own customers.
- Commercial recurring routes. Service windows, no-go times, usual days and crew sizes per customer, with route optimization in every plan.
- The ripple, shown. Find a spot shows what a move pushes back or bumps; every change is logged with a reason and lands on the To notify list.
- No change to your system of record. Crewtide plans the week; your current software keeps billing and service records.
Trying Crewtide alongside FieldRoutes
FieldRoutes doesn’t publish export steps, so start from whatever customer report you can export (its reports are exportable) or from your own spreadsheet. Add each customer’s cycle, usual days, window and time on site, import it into Crewtide and build next week. See Crewtide for pest control.
Questions
How much does FieldRoutes cost?
FieldRoutes doesn’t publish prices. Its pricing page says the monthly subscription is based on the number of active customers, and both plans say “Request Pricing”.
Does FieldRoutes have a free trial?
No. FieldRoutes says it “does not offer a free trial because of the software’s highly customizable nature” and offers demos instead.
Is FieldRoutes part of ServiceTitan?
Its site links to “FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company” channels.
Can Crewtide replace FieldRoutes?
Only for scheduling and routing. Crewtide has no billing, contracts or service records, so pest and lawn companies usually keep their platform for those.
