Short answer

Route4Me is the stronger option for delivery-heavy or enterprise fleets that want deep routing configuration, telematics and proof of delivery, and don’t mind a sales-led setup. It publishes no prices; recurring routing, text notifications and driver skills are paid add-ons, and time windows start on the Business package.

Crewtide is simpler for service teams: published per-technician pricing, a 14-day trial, and windows, crew sizes and recurring visit cycles included, with a clear view of what each change bumps.

Crewtide Core is $49 per technician a month billed annually ($59 month to month), with windows, crews, recurring cycles and route optimization included. Ten technicians cost $490 or $590 a month.

Where Route4Me is stronger

  • Routing depth. Mixed vehicles, business rules, pickup and drop-off, telematics and custom algorithms for large fleets.
  • Mature recurrence tools. Route templates with daily, weekly, monthly and annual rules and holiday exceptions, plus Strategic Routing for multi-week cycles.
  • Move previews. After moving stops, a confirmation window “checks for conflicts, shows route details, and explains how the sequence of the other stops will change.”
  • Field apps and notifications. iOS, Android and Zebra apps with proof of service, and event-triggered email and text notifications.

Where Crewtide fits better

  • Self-serve and priced up front. Start a trial and build a real week without a sales call or add-on quotes.
  • Service teams, not deliveries. Time on site per crew size, two- and three-person visits, night routes and usual days are part of every customer record.
  • A record that lasts. Every change keeps its reason in the change log, and customers whose visit moved go to the To notify list. Route4Me’s editor undo history clears when you refresh the page.
  • Office users are free. Schedulers and managers don’t need paid seats.
