Short answer

Crewtide works with Google Sheets through a file: download the sheet as Excel or CSV (File › Download), import it into Crewtide, and build the week with route optimization. Route sheets and change lists export back out, so you can paste them into the shared sheet your team already uses.

How to move your Google Sheets schedule into Crewtide

  1. Get to one row per customer.Put customer details on a single tab: name, address, cycle, usual days, window, no-go times, time on site and crew size. The free template opens in Google Sheets too.
  2. Download the tab.In Google Sheets choose File › Download › Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) for the whole spreadsheet, or File › Download › Comma-separated values (.csv) for the current tab only.
  3. Import it into Crewtide.Check that each column matched the right field.
  4. Build and check the week.Crewtide places every due visit on a route and flags anything that doesn’t fit.
  5. Share the result.Export route sheets and the change list, and paste or upload them where your team looks.

Tips from teams that plan in Sheets

  • Freeze the master list. Keep one “Customers” tab that only changes when a customer changes, and stop copying weekly tabs.
  • Use a week-parity column for every-other-week customers. “A” or “B”, or the first week they’re due, so the cycle survives the import.
  • Put time on site in minutes. “90” imports cleanly; “an hour and a half” doesn’t.

Questions

Is there a Google Sheets route planner?

Google Sheets can hold the schedule, and add-ons can map addresses, but scheduling recurring visits around windows and crews is manual. Crewtide imports your sheet and does that part.

Does Crewtide sync live with Google Sheets?

Not today. You download the sheet and import it. Calendar sync and other integrations are coming with Crewtide Pro.

Will CSV download every tab?

No. A CSV download contains only the current tab; download as Excel (.xlsx) to keep every tab.

Can my team still use the shared sheet?

Yes. Export route sheets and change lists from Crewtide and add them to the shared sheet.
