Crewtide + QuickBooks

Plan service routes from your QuickBooks customer list

QuickBooks knows who your customers are and where they are. It doesn’t plan routes. Export the customer list, add how often and when you visit, and Crewtide builds the week.

Short answer

Today you bring QuickBooks customers into Crewtide by exporting the customer list to Excel or CSV and importing it. QuickBooks stays your accounting system; Crewtide plans and routes the recurring visits. Two-way QuickBooks sync, keeping customers and visits in step automatically, is coming with Crewtide Pro.

Export customers from QuickBooks Online

  1. Open Customers.Go to All apps › Customer Hub › Customers & leads.
  2. Export.Select the Export icon next to Print, then Export to Excel. The file includes name, company, address, phone, email, customer type, currency, balance and notes.
  3. Need different columns?Use Reports › Standard reports › Sales and Customer › Customer Contact List, customize the columns, run the report and export it to Excel.

Export customers from QuickBooks Desktop

  1. Open the Customer Center.The Customer/Vendor Center.
  2. Export the list.Choose the Excel dropdown › Export Customer/Vendor list, pick “Create a comma separated values (.csv) file”, then Export and save it.

Add the visit rules and import

QuickBooks exports who and where. Crewtide also needs how often and when. Add these columns next to each recurring customer (the free template has them ready):
