Crewtide vs Jobber

Jobber alternative for recurring routes: Crewtide vs Jobber

Jobber runs the whole job, from quote to payment, for home service businesses. Crewtide does one part, the weekly plan for recurring commercial routes, in more depth. Many teams will want both.

Short answer

Keep Jobber if you need quotes, invoicing, payments, a client hub and a mobile app in one place, and most of your visits can be “anytime” visits. It’s cheaper per person than Crewtide and does much more outside scheduling.

Add or switch to Crewtide when the week is mostly recurring commercial customers with service windows, crews and usual days. Jobber’s route optimization only reorders visits that have no set start or end time, so visits booked in a window stay where you put them. Crewtide plans the whole week around those windows and shows what every move bumps.

Pricing compared

Jobber sells plans in user bundles, and “a user is anyone who accesses your account at the office or in the field to view or manage the team’s schedule.” Crewtide charges only for technicians on routes; office users are free. Route optimization in Jobber starts on Connect.

10 technicians plus 2 office users, month-to-month list prices (checked October 25, 2026). Jobber: 10-user bundle + 2 extra users at $29.
PlanUsers paid forPer monthIncludes route optimization
Jobber Connect12$357Yes (anytime visits)
Jobber Grow12$457Yes (anytime visits)
Jobber Plus12$657Yes, plus crew scheduling
Crewtide Core10 technicians$590 ($490 billed annually)Yes, windows and crews included

Jobber is cheaper and includes far more of the business. If you keep Jobber for quotes and invoices and plan the week in Crewtide, you pay for both, so the question is whether the weekly plan costs you more than $490–$590 a month in scheduler hours and drive time. Our route planning cost calculator works that out for your team.

Jobber showed a “save up to 40%” offer for new customers ending October 30, 2026. The table uses regular prices.

Where Jobber is stronger

  • Everything after the visit. Quotes, jobs, invoices, payments, automatic payments for recurring work and a client hub. Crewtide doesn’t invoice at all.
  • Customer messages today. When you reschedule a visit, Jobber asks whether to send the client a text or email and moves their reminders for you. Crewtide lists who to tell now; sending comes with Pro.
  • A mature mobile app. Technicians see their visits, the optimized order and job details on their phone. Crewtide’s phone app comes with Pro; today you print or export route sheets.
  • Price per person. A 10-user Connect bundle costs less than ten Crewtide technicians, and that includes office users.

Where Crewtide fits better

  • Windows and optimization together. In Jobber, “only anytime visits (visits without a scheduled start or end time) can be optimized.” A customer who must be served between 5:30 and 9 AM either loses the window or loses optimization. Crewtide optimizes every due visit inside its window.
  • The whole team, the whole week. Building the week places every due visit across all technicians, using each customer’s usual days, no-go times and crew size. Jobber’s optimizer reorders visits; moving work between people is a separate manual step.
  • What a move costs, before you make it. Find a spot ranks every option and says whether it fits, pushes later stops back, bumps another stop or runs past clock-out.
  • A record of why. Every change needs a reason, undo works step by step, and the To notify list shows each customer whose visit moved with the old and new time.
  • Crews and night routes. Time on site per crew size and overnight routes that cross midnight are built in, on every plan.

Using Jobber and Crewtide together

Most Jobber customers who try Crewtide will keep Jobber as the system of record. The weekly loop looks like this:

  1. Export your clients from Jobber.Clients › More Actions › Export Clients › CSV (admins only; Jobber emails the file, up to 1,500 rows per file). The Recurring jobs report also exports to CSV with service addresses.
  2. Add the rules Jobber doesn’t export.Jobber’s recurring jobs report doesn’t include how often a job repeats, so add each customer’s cycle, usual days, window and time on site. The recurring schedule template has the columns.
  3. Plan and publish the week in Crewtide.Build the week, fix what the checks flag, publish and print route sheets.
  4. Carry changes back.Use the change log and To notify list to update moved visits in Jobber. Two-way Jobber sync is coming with Crewtide Pro.

Step by step, with the column mapping: use Crewtide with Jobber.

Questions

What is the best Jobber alternative for recurring commercial routes?

It depends on what you need replaced. For quotes, invoices and payments, look at other field service suites. If the problem is planning recurring routes with service windows and crews, Crewtide is built for exactly that, and you can keep Jobber for billing.

Does Jobber have route optimization?

Yes, on Connect, Grow and Plus. It can optimize up to 7 days for the whole team at once, but only visits without a scheduled start or end time. Optimizing is admin-only and done on the web, not in the app.

Is Crewtide cheaper than Jobber?

No. A 10-user Jobber Connect bundle is $299 a month month to month, and Crewtide Core for 10 technicians is $590 month to month or $490 billed annually. Jobber also does quoting and invoicing. Crewtide is for teams whose weekly routing problem is bigger than what Jobber’s optimizer covers.

Can Crewtide import my Jobber clients?

Yes. Export your clients from Jobber as CSV, add each customer’s visit cycle and service window, and import the file into Crewtide during the 14-day free trial.

Will Crewtide sync with Jobber?

Two-way sync with Jobber is coming with Crewtide Pro. Until then you export from Jobber and use Crewtide’s change list to update moved visits.
