Crewtide vs OptimoRoute

Crewtide vs OptimoRoute

OptimoRoute is a capable route optimizer for delivery and field service. Crewtide is built around one job: planning the same commercial customers week after week. Here’s how they compare, with prices and sources.

Short answer

Pick OptimoRoute if you mostly plan one day at a time, want customer tracking links and proof of delivery today, and your visits don’t repeat on a fixed cycle. It costs a little less: Pro is $44.10 per driver a month billed annually.

Pick Crewtide if your week is mostly recurring customers with service windows, crew sizes and usual days, and the hard part is knowing what a change bumps and who to tell. In OptimoRoute, recurring orders are an early-release beta and weekly planning has to be switched on by support on Pro.

Pricing compared

Both tools charge per person on the road, not per office login. OptimoRoute charges per driver you plan for in a month; Crewtide charges per technician on a route that month, with a minimum of three. Here’s what a 10-technician team pays at list price:

Monthly cost for 10 technicians at list price (checked October 25, 2026)
PlanBilled annuallyMonth to month
OptimoRoute Lite$351$390
OptimoRoute Pro$441$490
Crewtide Core$490$590
Crewtide Pro (coming soon)$790$950

So OptimoRoute Pro is about $49 a month cheaper for ten technicians. The comparison that matters is what each plan includes for recurring work: OptimoRoute’s weekly planning is a Pro feature you ask support to activate, coordinated multi-person jobs need a Custom plan, and recurring orders are in an early-release program. Crewtide includes weekly building, crew sizes and route optimization in Core.

Where OptimoRoute is stronger

  • Customer tracking today. Pro sends email and text notifications with a live tracking page, plus proof of delivery and feedback surveys. Crewtide gives you the To notify list now; sending texts and emails comes with Pro.
  • A driver app on every plan. Technicians get their route, order details and navigation hand-off on iOS and Android. Crewtide has printable and exportable route sheets today and a phone app coming with Pro.
  • Delivery features. Vehicle capacities, pickup and delivery, multi-day long-haul routes and mid-route depots (some on Custom). Crewtide doesn’t try to do delivery.
  • A longer trial and a lower price. 30 days free, and Pro costs less per driver than Crewtide Core costs per technician.

Where Crewtide fits better

  • Recurring customers are the starting point, not a beta. Each customer’s visit cycle, usual days, service window, no-go times and time on site by crew size live on the customer. Next week is generated from that list, every week.
  • You see the ripple before you commit. Find a spot ranks every option and labels each one: fits as is, pushes later stops back, bumps another stop, or runs past clock-out.
  • Every change has a reason, and you know who to tell. Edits need a reason, undo works step by step, and every customer whose visit moved lands on a To notify list with the old time and the new one.
  • Crews are normal. Two- and three-person visits are set per customer with their own time on site. In OptimoRoute, multi-person “coordinated orders” need a Custom plan.
