Short answer

RouteManager is a strong optimizer: date-range planning, up to four time windows per order, skill tags and simulations, from $54 per vehicle a month with a four-vehicle minimum. Customer notifications and proof of completion need RouteManager360.

Crewtide is the better fit when crews, time on site by crew size, and a clear record of what moved and who to tell matter as much as the optimizer, and when you want published pricing and a self-serve trial.

Pricing compared

RouteManager’s pricing page says “Pricing as low as $54 per month per vehicle” with a minimum of four vehicles, and asks you to contact sales for bundles. It doesn’t say which billing term the $54 applies to.

A van with a two-person crew is one vehicle in RouteManager and two technicians in Crewtide, so crew-heavy teams should do the math both ways.

Where RouteManager is stronger

  • Constraint depth. Up to four windows per order, per-date exceptions, required and excluded tags for skills or equipment, flexible break windows, priorities and capacities.
  • Date-range optimization. “(Re)build Routes with the goal of serving all Orders eligible in the given date-range minimizing the overall cost.”
  • Simulations. What-if planning separate from live routes, which Crewtide plans for Pro as what-if weeks.
  • Notifications and tracking on RouteManager360, plus Zapier and an open API.

Where Crewtide fits better

  • Crews. Two- and three-person visits with their own time on site. RouteManager’s data model is one vehicle per order.
  • The ripple before you commit. Find a spot labels each option: fits as is, pushes later stops back, bumps another stop or runs past clock-out.
  • Who to tell. Every moved visit lands on the To notify list with the old time, new time and reason.
  • Self-serve. Published prices and a 14-day trial with no card.
